The Avian Kingdom is a new collective name for one of Sweden's premier bird sites.

The area is situated between the two lakes, Vomsjön and Krankesjön in the south of Sweden and has a number of nature reserves of both national and international interest. Located at just a 30 minute drive from Malmö and just over an hour from Copenhagen, The Avian Kingom attracts naturalists and other visitors from both near and far.

The Project - 'The Avian Kingdom in Lundaland', developed by local citizens during 2011 as a Leader project, strives to unite culture and economy in the area to create an international platform with nature in mind.
